Jacob Joseph is a pianist, songwriter, novelist, and human person from Columbia, South Carolina. He writes and performs to create opportunities for encountering truth, goodness, and beauty honestly in the world that is, with full acknowledgement of its brokenness, and with real hope for its redemption. He holds degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Liberty University and the University of South Carolina, respectively. Since graduating with his master’s in 2020 he has enjoyed teaching copious of amounts of piano lessons to his intelligent and imaginative students, being an active member of his church (where he also held down the significant duties of Director of All Things Musical), and developing the ideas for his upcoming novel and recording projects. In his free time he enjoys visiting L’Abri, volunteering at the South Carolina Study Center, and playing almost any sport whether he’s good at it or not.
